The Challenge

The project required creating a Shopify website for Goodbye Coffee that could combine e-commerce, coffee subscriptions, storytelling, and community content while maintaining a visual connection with the existing Goodbye Cycle brand. The website also needed a shared storytelling ecosystem between both brands, clear navigation for subscriptions and stories, dedicated Mugsy product experiences, and a flexible subscription structure.

The Approach

We designed and developed the Goodbye Coffee Shopify experience around a connected brand and content structure, creating the homepage, subscription pages, Mugsy product page, blog, About, FAQ, Early Subscriber, Stories, and Record Your Story sections. The implementation also connected Goodbye Coffee with Goodbye Cycle, incorporated social and YouTube content, added cross-website promotional sections, and implemented Appstle for monthly, yearly, and non-renewing gift subscriptions. The site was then reviewed across mobile and desktop with additional fixes for links, spacing, placeholder content, product presentation, and overall functionality.

Result

The project progressed from the initial website structure and Figma designs through Shopify implementation of the homepage, subscription pages, product pages, blog content, supporting pages, and subscription functionality. The team also completed post-build cleanup and fixes across mobile and desktop.
