TeraHissa: Split Expenses
Full-Stack Web Development
Developed and enhanced TeraHissa as a complete expense-sharing platform, covering group expense management, friend settlements, group funds, payment tracking, notifications, membership and trial functionality, user authentication, email notifications, and responsive UI improvements. The application was also migrated from React to Next.js with server-side rendering, along with SEO implementation including metadata, sitemap, and robots configuration.

The platform required continuous improvements across expense calculations, group management, notifications, authentication, membership restrictions, payments, performance, mobile responsiveness, and user experience. Key requirements included correctly calculating shared balances across multiple groups, handling partial settlements, preventing duplicate profiles for the same email or phone number, supporting group-specific activity and notifications, improving application loading speed, and introducing a structured trial and membership system.
Implemented the required functionality incrementally while preserving the existing application, including expense and settlement calculations, friend payment requests, group funds, notifications, activity loading, Firebase authentication and storage security, membership/trial restrictions, email workflows, Google Sheets synchronization, and responsive UI improvements. The application was later migrated from React to Next.js with server-side rendering and SEO infrastructure, followed by production deployment after staging validation.
TeraHissa was developed into a comprehensive expense-sharing and settlement platform with group expense management, friend-to-friend payments, partial and cross-group settlement calculations, group funds, activity tracking, and notifications. The platform also gained trial and membership functionality, email verification, password management, automated transactional emails, Google Sheets user synchronization, and improved responsive UI. The application was migrated from React to Next.js with server-side rendering and enhanced with SEO titles, descriptions, sitemap, and robots configuration, followed by successful staging validation and production deployment.
